Vietnam Tourism Open – Full event schedule
Day 1: Arrival & Welcome Dinner
- Arrival of participants and completion of registration formalities. The evening features a welcoming dinner.
Day 2: Round 1 at Heron Lake Golf Club
- Golfers: First round of golf at Heron Lake Golf Club.
- Non-golfers: Excursion to Hoa Lu – Tam Coc in Ninh Binh province, including visits to Dinh Kinh and Le Kinh Temples and a bamboo boat journey through Tam Coc, often referred to as Vietnam’s inland Ha Long.
Day 3: Round 2 at Thanh Lanh Golf Club
- Golfers: Golf round at Thanh Lanh Golf Club.
- Non-golfers: Hanoi city exploration, including stops at Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, and Hoa Lo Prison. The day concludes with a performance at Thang Long Water Puppetry Theater.
Day 4: Last Round at FLC Ha Long Bay Golf Club & Awards Dinner
- Golfers: Golfing at FLC Ha Long Bay Golf Club.
- Non-golfers: Tour of Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring views of limestone islands, and opportunities for kayaking, and swimming in the bay’s turquoise waters.
- All participants will join the awards dinner in the evening, where all prizes will be given to the winners.
Day 5: Departure day.

Vietnam Tourism Open Participant Guidelines
Participation is available to male and female golfers aged 35 and above who possess an official handicap. Competitors will engage in a 54-hole single stableford tournament. Additionally, golfers in the ‘A’ grade category have the opportunity to contend for the top stroke/gross award.
Age Groups and Handicap Divisions (A, B, C)
You will be assured of playing alongside golfers of similar age and skill levels:
- Ages 35-55 (maximum handicap of 30 for men; 40 for women)
- Ages 56-65 (maximum handicap of 30 for men; 40 for women)
- Ages 66 and above (maximum handicap of 36 for men; 45 for women).
In collaboration with GOLF Link (Australia) and various International Golf Associations, the tournament organizers will examine the six-month playing records of all participants. The committee overseeing the tournament maintains the authority to adjust player handicaps if necessary.
Pace of Play
To ensure a pleasant experience for every participant, the number of players will be restricted, and marshals will oversee the speed of the game.
