The Ban Gioc waterfall, one of the highlights of this province, is the main draw for tourists to Cao Bang. The biggest waterfall in Vietnam is located here, close to the Chinese border. The coastal town of Lang Co is linked to the contemporary city of Da Nang by a road that crosses the mountains. Amazing views can be found along the entire 21-kilometer road that crosses the pass, and those who stray from it on occasion are rewarded with miles of deserted beach.
