Bathing

The main activity during a seaside stay is of course swimming. In Vietnam, the water is often at a perfectly pleasant temperature for swimming during the day and even in the early evening. In addition, the quality of the water is remarkable, as is the fineness of the sand! Vietnam’s beaches are ideal for families as there are very few strong waves. Remember to follow the safety instructions and watch out for any jellyfish.

Seafood tasting

Don’t forget to taste the culinary specialties often based on fish and shellfish! Some beaches even have night markets where you can taste these tasty dishes in a festive and warm atmosphere. Otherwise, don’t hesitate to try out the small eateries or go for a walk in the fishing villages!

Other activities

Many wellness and relaxation activities are also offered on the beach. This is the perfect opportunity to relax, take care of yourself and be pampered during a treatment session such as massages or a mud bath with multiple therapeutic virtues.

For example, in Phu Quoc, it is possible to visit pearl oyster farms and Nuoc Mam, the famous fish sauce that the Vietnamese love.

The Con Dao archipelago, meanwhile, has decided to turn to ecotourism to best protect its natural treasures. Between May and September, only 30 lucky ones will be able to witness the laying of green turtles on Bay Canh Island, which can lay up to 200 eggs in one night!

It was a lot of fun to visit both countries! I wish i had more time to spend, but the itinerary IDC provided did ensure me the best experience in both Thai and Cambodia in such a short time. Food and accommodations were all amazing, especially at Phuket. Thank you Alex for the great help!

Food lover paradise!!

As a spicy lover i was so excited to try out Thai cuisine for the first time! Amazing flavors really, we were advised to spend time in local markets and sample various street foods, and it did not disappoint. One of my kids cant eat spicy food but she loves Thai desserts, i'd say there is something for everyone here. Love that IDC Travel included a Thai cooking class in the tour as well, being able to understand the ingredients and recipes behind the flavor we eat was a lot of fun to me. Of course the hotels and service are great too, much love to the IDC team for planning this trip for me!! :D

My friend and I are foodie travelers, so we decided to book this tour with the desire to explore the Southeast Asia culinary scene, and this tour was absolutely beyond our expectations. Both Thai and Vietnamese cuisine are great, from their look to flavor. In each destination, we tried some food, and all of them were so excellent that they awakened our taste buds. Thank you IDC Travel for guiding us to the popular food spots and supporting us during our trip! Would definitely use their service in the future!!!

Our 10-day trip from Chiang Mai to Phuket was an amazing experience, thanks to IDC Travel. In Chiang Mai, we explored beautiful temples, visited an ethnic elephant sanctuary, and enjoyed the lively night markets. Then, off to Phuket, where we relaxed on stunning beaches, took a breathtaking Phi Phi Islands tour, and indulged in delicious Thai food. The itinerary was well organized, and our guide made every moment so special. Highly recommend this trip for anyone visiting Thailand!

Aino Lehtinen

My friends and I decided to take this trip to Thailand, and it was so fascinating. We have never visited a floating market like Famnoen Saduak, so this was so exciting to experience the vibrant atmosphere. The Grand Palace left us in awe with its intricate architecture and rich history. Then, the cruise on the Chao Phraya River gave us a unique and romantic view of Bangkok. Big thanks to our guide for making the trip smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour for first-time travellers to Thailand!

The first step in planning is knowing when you are going and how long you want to stay at the beach. When you go will determine which part of Vietnam has the best weather.

It is also useful to know how long you want to stay. Do you want to live experiences in the city during your trip? The length of your stay will help determine which beach is best.

The next step is to choose the beach that suits your travel style and needs. In general, Nha Trang is a great place for a simple beach vacation where travelers can get their money’s worth. For people looking for luxury experiences, the beaches of Hue and Da Nang are the best.

Finally, in Vietnam, the choice of hotels is endless and it is important to choose the right hotel for your trip. Solo travelers and families generally look for good-value hotels that are located near the beach or major area attractions.

Honeymooners or those seeking luxury often feel more comfortable on a private beach, in a villa or resort.

The best time to visit the beaches of Vietnam depends on the area you want to go. However, as the best beaches stretch from the center to the south of the country, there is always a good beach break to take, whatever season you are travelling.
