If you are looking for a journey that includes fantastic activities for children, a 14-day Vietnam family tour with children is the ideal option. The journey will take you to Ho Chi Minh City, the Cu Chi Tunnels, the Mekong Delta, Nha Trang Beach, Hoi An Ancient Town, and Ha Long Bay and conclude in Hanoi.
When you arrive at Tan Son NHat – HCM International Airport, our tour guide will be carrying a welcome signboard with the IDC Travel logo and your name outside the baggage claim area and will escort you to Saigon downtown, providing a quick introduction along the way.
The afternoon is at your leisure, depending on your arrival time. Hotel in Saigon for the night.
We’ll pick you up in the morning and transport you to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a significant element of the Vietnam-American War and a fascinating day trip– explore the enigmatic tunnels, discover hidden entrances, and once-deadly traps. After lunch, we’ll return to Ho Chi Minh City and spend the afternoon at either the War Remnants Museum or the Presidential Palace, depending on your preference. Then, in the evening, wander through the city’s colonial streets to the Old Saigon Post Office, Dong Khoi Street, Continental Hotel, Opera House, and City Hall. Ho Chi Minh City is where you’ll spend the night.
This morning, depart Saigon for the Mekong Delta. Upon arriving at the Ham Luong dock, explore the active activities near the Ben Tre river such as fishing, water transferring, and brick construction in a practical traditional manner by printing and baking. Visit one of the many coconut processing workshops along the canal. To get to the settlement, turn on natural scissors streams that appear less and smaller. Take a visit to the family workshop where you will be making sleepmats and enjoying some fruits and tea.
Riding a motor cart (xe loi) or biking on shaded routes, ride past verdant rice fields and vegetable plains to get a feel for local life and learn about tropical culture from peasants. Lunch at a neighborhood establishment.
In the afternoon, take a sampan around the canal before returning by boat to Ham Lung dock. Finish your journey by traveling directly to Can Tho for the night.
We take a boat after breakfast and sail for roughly 40 minutes to our first beautiful landscape, Cai Rang floating market… This is the largest structure of its kind in the entire Mekong delta. During this tour, you will get the opportunity to board a merchant boat that sells pineapples from Can Tho City. Then, go about the hamlet, meet the lovely locals, and learn how to manufacture noodle and rice paper.
