After breakfast at your hotel, we travel to My Tho, the “rice bowl of Vietnam,” in the Mekong Delta, where we board a boat to negotiate the complicated canal system. Then, sail down the Bao Dinh canal, and visit the wholesale fruit market in My Tho and Turtle Island.
Have lunch in the middle of an orchard.
Then enjoy a boat trip down the Tan Trach canal in Ben Tre, cruise beneath the shade of coconut trees, and visit family enterprises to get a sense of the agricultural culture. Trek through the fruit fields on Thoi Son island and row through the various streams before returning by rowboat to My Tho.
