The second day of your 17 days in Vietnam and Cambodia starts with a visit to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university. Then, visit the One Pillar Pagoda, which is famous for its architecture and resembles a lotus flower emerging from the water.
You will also pass by Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and his stilt house.
After that, stroll around the West Lake to enjoy its tranquil atmosphere and visit Tran Quoc Pagoda – the oldest temple in Hanoi. Lunch will be served at a local Vietnamese restaurant.

Arrive at Lao Cai train station in the early morning. Our driver and tour guide will be ready to take you to Sapa. After relaxing and having breakfast, your trekking adventure will begin.
The trek will take you to Y Linh Ho village, located along the Muong Hoa valley. Here, you can discover the lifestyle of the Black Hmong and the stunning beauty of the terraced rice fields. Then, continue to Ta Van village to meet the Zay people, a small minority of about 38,000 people.
You will then return to Sapa by car, check in to the hotel, and be free for the rest of the day.

During this tour, you will discover the most famous tourist attractions in Phnom Penh, including the Independence Monument, the Royal Palace Complex, and the Silver Pagoda (Temple of the Emerald Buddha), where you can admire the iconic architectural achievements of the Khmer people. You will also visit the National Museum, the largest cultural history museum in Cambodia, ideal for those looking to learn about the ancient Khmer culture. Then, head to Wat Phnom, known as the only hill in the city with sacred sites. You can climb the stairs to the top for a magnificent view of the city.
In the afternoon, around 1:30 pm, our driver will pick you up to transfer you to Mekong Bus Station, from where you will depart to Siem Reap. The bus will stop at a restaurant where you can use the toilets and buy your own meals or snacks.
Upon arrival at Borei Seang Nam Station in Siem Reap, our guide will greet you and transfer you to your hotel for check-in. You will then have free time to explore Siem Reap at your leisure: wander around the night markets, enjoy Khmer massages and spa treatments, and discover a variety of excellent cafes and restaurants.

After breakfast at the hotel, get ready for a full-day tour of the Angkor complex, starting around 08:00. Start by visiting the Ta Prohm temple, a Buddhist temple dedicated to the mother of Jayavarman VII, characterized by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic vines that entwine it. Stop at the ancient capital of Angkor Thom, starting with the South Gate decorated with its immense statues representing the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with more than 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the royal enclosure, the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King.
In the afternoon, around 1:30 pm, spend some time exploring Angkor Wat, the most famous of all the temples on the Angkor Plain. After the visit, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a magnificent view of the sunset from Angkor Wat or another suitable viewpoint.
