Welcome to Laos! Upon arrival in Vientiane on the first day of the 16-day Laos and Vietnam trip, you will be warmly welcomed by your private driver and then escorted to your hotel for check-in.

Vientiane, Laos

The rest of the day will be dedicated to relaxing or exploring the city at your own pace.

Exploration of Vientiane will begin after breakfast. You will visit Wat Si Saket, where you can admire thousands of Buddha images, and explore Wat Ho Phra Keo and Pha That Luang.

You will also learn about the crucial work of the COPE Visitor Center and browse Talat Sao Market, home to exquisite handicrafts.

Later, you will visit the Buddha Park and the weaving village of Ban Nong Buoathong, before ending the day with a sunset dinner on the banks of the Mekong.

After breakfast, you will drive to Vang Vieng, a serene town located on the banks of the Nam Song River.

Then, you will visit Ban Keun, known for salt mining and a local Laos whiskey distillery. Stop at Talat Market and immerse yourself in the bustling local life. Once in Vang Vieng, you can explore the hill villages and caves, or enjoy a river tubing experience.

Today, your excursion will include visiting Tham Chang Cave, a historic refuge from invaders, and Ban Huai Ngai Village.

You will be amazed by the magnificent mountain landscapes before taking the road to Luang Prabang, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Start your day by getting up early to attend the traditional alms-giving ceremony. You can join the local population or respectfully observe the ceremony.

You will also visit the villages of Ban Longlao Neung and Ban Longlao Song, and end your day at the wonderful Kuang Si Waterfall, where you can cool off.

After breakfast, you will learn about local agriculture at a nearby farm, learning about traditional rice cultivation.

Later, you will take a flight to Hanoi, transitioning from the tranquility of Laos to the vibrant energy of Vietnam’s capital.

Upon arrival, you will board a traditional junk for a cruise among picturesque karsts and emerald waters. Have lunch while admiring the breathtaking scenery of the bay.

You will start your day with a tai chi lesson or a relaxing massage on the deck. Explore the bustling floating village of Cua Van by kayak.

On this day, you will have breakfast at the hotel and have free time before being transferred by private car to the airport for the flight to Hue, the ancient capital of Vietnam.

Today, you will cycle to Tra Que Vegetable Village, where you will learn about local agriculture practices and participate in traditional gardening activities. Join a cooking class, where you can make and enjoy local dishes like “Tam Huu” spring rolls.

After lunch, you will cycle back to Hoi An for an afternoon of relaxation or exploration.

Spend the day in Hoi An to enjoy its serene ambiance. You could choose to row along the river, relax on the beach, or explore more of the ancient city.

You will be transferred to Danang to catch an early flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

In the morning, after breakfast, our driver will pick you up to visit My Tho and Ben Tre.

Your first stop is Thoi Son Islet, where you can walk on the village roads, visit an orchard, and taste fresh fruits. Then, continue to Tan Thach in Ben Tre to visit a coconut candy company. Try to make this typical product with the guidance of a local craftsman.

After lunch at a local restaurant, you can take a bike ride through orchards, coconut groves, and fields.

Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon.
