To begin your memorable journey, set foot in Hanoi, the beautiful capital of Vietnam, and head to the World Heritage Site of Ha Long Bay and the ancient capital of Hue. The next stop on your adventure will be the ancient town of Hoi An, where you will have plenty of time to relax on the beach and discover central Vietnam’s beauty. After this, you will engage in the service at the Cao Dai Temple in the south of Vietnam and experience life on the Mekong Delta before you continue your tour to Siem Reap with its unique temple of Angkor Wat.

Upon arrival, you will meet your guide and driver and then transfer to your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter. Check into the hotel, and the remaining time is at your leisure.

You can start your adventure in the rich cultural heritage city by walking around the street and enjoying local cuisine in restaurants for dinner.

Today, you will engage in the full-day Hanoi City Tour to admire the iconic destinations in Hanoi, from ancient pagodas to historical landmarks.
Start the city tour by visiting Tran Quoc Pagoda, one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Hanoi, known for its beautiful architecture and serene surroundings. Learn about the history and legacy of Vietnam’s beloved leader at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Complex, which included attractions like the Ho Chi Minh Museum, Ho Chi Minh Stilt House, Ho Chi Minh Museum, One Pillar Pagoda, Ba Dinh Square, and Presidential Palace. Then, visit the Temple of Literature, which is Vietnam’s first national university and symbol of Confucianism in the country.

To finish your city tour, come to the Thang Long Theater for a water puppet show. You can try to go out by cyclo, a traditional means of transport in Vietnam.

Have breakfast at the hotel and then head to Ha Long Bay. You will arrive in Ha Long Bay around 11:30. Listen to the crew’s introduction and enjoy the welcome drink. In the afternoon, visit the mysterious Thien Canh Son Cave. Stop at a wild beach where you can swim. If time permits, you can go kayaking for 1 hour.

Have breakfast and then participate in an exciting kayaking trip to visit the center of the local fishing village. Here, you can discover floating houses and the lifestyle of people living on water. You will meet a villager who will explain the daily life of residents in Ha Long Bay.

Once you leave the pier, the minibus will wait to transfer you to Hanoi. During the trip, you will visit Dong Trieu village, which specializes in making beautifully decorated handmade ceramics.
Transfer to the airport and fly to Hue. The driver will welcome you to the hotel.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then head to Hoi An.
You will continue your sightseeing in Mystical Hue today. Take a boat trip on the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda. Then, drive to visit some of the thirteen lavish imperial tombs of the Nguyen Kings, including King Tu Duc and King Khai Dinh.

This afternoon, you will drive south to Da Nang, through the top of Hai Van Pass, where you will have a great panoramic view of Lang Co Beach to the north and Da Nang surroundings to the south. Take a break at Lang Co Beach and continue to the charming and relaxed town of Hoi An. Believed to have been settled no less than 2,200 years ago, Hoi An was a thriving seaport and a base for seafaring nations seeking new sources of wealth throughout Southeast Asia.
Upon arrival, you’ll check into your hotel for an overnight stay in Hoi An.

Today, you will spend time exploring the countryside of Hoi An.
With a full bicycle basket, leave Hoi An and pedal along a riverside backroad, passing shrimp farms, fishing villages, and Cam Thanh. This waterfront village is famous for its lush mangroves and 208-acre (84 ha) coconut palm forest. Here, you’ll hop in a traditional basket boat (called a thung chai) for a ride down the Thu Bon River.
Then, transfer to the Tra Que Vegetable Village. Upon arrival, visit a local home and enjoy a welcome drink. You will meet your chef, who will show the tricks and techniques for preparing delicious regional dishes.
Hoi An
Later, return to Hoi An and enjoy some leisure time. Stroll the riverfront promenade and admire the faded yellow colonial architecture and Japanese merchant buildings, browse the galleries of Ancient Town to discover Hoi An’s burgeoning art scene, or relax at a café by the river.

After a morning drive to Da Nang, you will visit the Cham Museum, featuring artifacts from the Kingdom of Champa, a civilization that ruled the area from the 2nd to the 14th century.

Later, you will fly to the vibrant Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon) and check into your hotel. Although it’s the largest and busiest city in Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City retains the beauty of its graceful, colonial, French-style structures.

Today, you will visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels. This immersive network of underground passages was constructed in 1945 to protect the Viet Cong guerrillas from French attacks. They also served as living quarters, communications hubs, and supply routes with storage areas and hospitals.
Ho Chi Minh City Tour
Have lunch at a local restaurant, then return to Ho Chi Minh City for a highlights tour in the afternoon. First up is Reunification Palace (also known as Independence Palace), the Saigon government’s headquarters during the American War (as the Vietnam War is known locally). After that, visit the historic 19th-century landmarks like Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office. You’ll also stop at Ben Thanh, one of the largest municipal markets in the city.

In the morning, you’ll fly to Siem Reap in northern Cambodia to visit the fabulous ancient sites of Angkor, one of the great wonders of the world. The grandeur of this bygone civilization is truly astounding. You will visit Angkor Thom (or “Great City”), which is in some ways even more spectacular than the colossal Angkor Wat, as it has nearly disappeared into the jungle.

You will be met and transferred to your comfortable hotel for check-in (subject to room availability). The tour will take you to Angkor Wat, a World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology. After that, you can visit Bakheng Temple and enjoy a romantic sunset view from Bakheng Hill before an overnight stay in Siem Reap.

Then, embark on an elephant ride from the South Gate of Angkor Thom through the jungle to the famous Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, Baphoun. You will also see the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.

In the afternoon, you will continue to visit fabulous Ta Prohm (embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers), Pre Rup, East Mebon, Krovan, Srah Srang, Banteay Kdei, and Ta Keo.
Have dinner while enjoying a performance of Apsara (Khmer folk dancing).
