Starting in Hanoi, you will embark on a scenic drive to the Pu Luong Nature Reserve, a region of exceptional natural beauty, cultural significance, and diverse biodiversity. During the trek, you will have the opportunity to observe the daily lives and traditions of the local farming people, including the Thai and Muong ethnic minorities. The region also boasts rich forests, stunning limestone panoramas, and picturesque rice terraces, providing a truly authentic Vietnamese experience. Pick you up at the hotel and depart for Mai Chau.

In the afternoon, free time to explore the village. You can ride a bike through beautiful hillside villages, and magnificent rice paddies, and see hand-crafted bamboo water wheels. Discover the beauty of Pu Luong Nature Reserve, and join the daily life activities of the white Thai people.
Have a traditional dinner and stay the night in the village.
Get up early, stroll around the village, or take part in your host family’s activities before having breakfast.
Then depart to Kho Muong village – one of the most beautiful villages in Vietnam, nestled between steep karst mountains and rice terraces. Have a soft break at Pu Luong Eco Garden to drop off your luggage before continuing the ride to Pho Doan, and visiting the local market (on Thursday and Sunday mornings).

Follow the small road, and trail through the terraced rice fields and jungle to reach Hieu Waterfall. Have lunch by the waterfall.
In the afternoon, free time to relax and swim in the waterfall or trek to explore the surrounding village and jungle. Then, board the van to go back to Pu Luong Eco Garden, free time to relax at the infinity pool.
BBQ Dinner at the lodge, enjoy the local rice wine.
Have a quiet night in the middle of the Reserve.

Hike through small roads between terrace rice fields and cross the stream to reach the remote and hidden village of Kho Muong to learn about the local people’s life in Pu Luong (6 km).

Explore Doi Cave (Bat cave) – the largest cave in Pu Luong. (Depending on the weather condition).

Then, free time to relax in the infinity pool or walk around the village.
Overnight in Pu Luong.
Free time till our driver picks you up to return to Hanoi.
Have lunch at Muong Ken town and keep driving back to Hanoi.
The last visit is the Hoa Binh hydropower plant – the biggest power station in Vietnam.
