When you arrive at Hanoi International Airport, you will be greeted by a IDC Travel tour guide and driver before being transferred to Hanoi downtown, a city of lakes, shaded boulevards, and parks and the capital of Vietnam.

Our tour guide will quickly re-discuss your tour schedule, general and important information for your time in Vietnam, double check with items you may need to clarify, and verify with you for the following day pick up time on the way from the airport to the hotel.

Hoan Kiem Lake – Hanoi

Based on your specific tastes, a welcome dinner is reserved at one of Hanoi’s finest restaurants.

Spend the night at the hotel.

After breakfast at your accommodation, begin your guided city tour with the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum, the One Pillar Pagoda, and Tran Quoc Pagoda at historic Ba Dinh Square.

Then we go to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s earliest university, which was founded in 1076.

Lunch at one of the city’s well-known eateries.

We visit the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology in the afternoon and take a cyclo cycle around Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter.

Before dinner, take in the unique creativity of a water puppet display.

Evening optional activities in Hanoi:

– Have a drink at a neighboring café/bar/pub.

– Exploring the downtown Hanoi area (walking streets on Weekends from Friday night until Sunday around Old Quarter areas and Hoan Kiem Lake)

– Go on a nighttime motorcycle/scooter/walking tour.

Check out of the motel after breakfast. Be ready at 08.30AM for a transport to the famed World Heritage Site of Ha Long Bay for an overnight tour.

At lunchtime, we arrive at Ha Long Bay and check into your cruise room.

Each cruise has its unique schedule and covers different aspects of the Bay:

– Cruise around Ha Long Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay, or Lan Ha Bay, which has several islands and islets surrounded by calm sea.

– On the first or second day, go to Heaven Palace Cave and/or Surprising Cave.

– Participate in cruise activities such as cooking classes, Tai Chi demonstrations, kayaking, swimming, and fishing.

On the boat, lunch and supper will be served. Overnight in your cruise room

The day before, travelers are encouraged to get up about 5.00 or 6.00 AM to see the sunrise or swim if the weather permits. Breakfast/ Brunch is provided at around 7:30 a.m., after which the boat continues its schedule to Heaven Palace Cave or Surprising Cave if not planned on the first day.

Return to the waterfront about midday and travel back to Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport for your late afternoon trip to Hue.

You will be welcomed at the Hue airport and driven to your accommodation. The evening is free.

Heaven Palace Cave

Tour the Hue Royal Citadel in the morning, which was built by Emperor Gia Long in the early nineteenth century and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the Imperial Museum, which has numerous historic objects from the Imperial capital, then proceed to Emperor Khai Dinh’s mausoleum and enjoy lunch at a restaurant.

In the afternoon, take a leisurely boat ride down the Perfume River to see the Thien Mu temple, Emperor Minh Mang’s mausoleum, and the famed Dong Ba market. Evening free for supper and leisure activities.

Hue overnight

After breakfast, take the Hai Van Pass from Hue to Da Nang, stopping at Lang Co Beach along the route. En route to Hoi An, stop at the Cham Museum in Da Nang and Marble Mountain.

After lunch, take a walking tour of this 17th century Asian trading port to appreciate the classic architecture and laid-back local culture. Visit the renovated ancient merchant families’ mansions in the town center, the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, and the vibrant, colorful market.

Hoi An ancient town

The evening is free for additional exploration of the town and dinner at one of the numerous local eateries serving regional delicacies.

Breakfast at the hotel, followed by transport to Da Nang for your morning flight to Nha Trang, where you will be met and checked into your accommodation. After lunch, proceed on a city tour of Nha Trang, stopping at the Po Nagar Cham Tower and Long Son Pagoda.

Spend the evening on your own in Nha Trang, eating some of the region’s famous seafood.

08:45: We take you up from your accommodation in Nha Trang after breakfast. Transfer to the pier for a boat ride to four bay islands, including Mun Island, for swimming and snorkeling among the vibrant tropical coral and fish in their natural home.

Diving in Nha Trang

Mot Island for a fishing village visit to learn about raising groupers and lobsters; Se Tre Island for a seafood lunch and water sports activities; then over to Mieu Island to view local fish and coral species at the Tri Nguyen Aquarium, arriving back in Nha Trang around 16:00 for an open evening to enjoy your dinner and do as you please.

Relax at your leisure in the morning before transferring to the airport for your afternoon trip to Ho Chi Minh City.

You will be welcomed at the airport and escorted to your accommodation upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City. You have the evening free to explore the old city at your leisure.

– Enjoy local café/pub/bar beverages.

– Strolling around the night walking street (Bui Vien, De Tham streets)

– Go on a nighttime scooter or motorcycle trip.

After breakfast, enjoy a morning city tour of this ancient city, stopping at the old Presidential Palace, the War Remnants Museum, and Ben Thanh market.
