Upon your arrival in Vientiane, our driver will warmly welcome you and escort you to your hotel. Vientiane is a captivating blend of Lao, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, French, and American influences.
Pha That Luang – Laos
After a short break, we will embark on a tour of the city’s highlights, beginning with Wat Sisaket, the oldest temple in Laos adorned with thousands of miniature Buddha statues, and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo. Our journey will also include a visit to the iconic That Luang Stupa, the most significant monument in Laos. You’ll have the chance to capture photos of the impressive Patuxay Monument, often called Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph.
This evening, we’ll gather for a welcome dinner at one of the city’s esteemed restaurants.

After breakfast, we’ll head out to explore Buddha Park, an enchanting assembly of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures located near the Friendship Bridge. Scattered across the area are about 200 religious images, offering a serene and cultural experience.
Vientiane Morning Market
Later, we’ll visit the Morning Market and the weaving village of Ban Nong Bouathong (if time permits) before boarding an express train bound for Vang Vieng. This peaceful town sits nestled along a curve of the Nam Song River, where the day culminates with a breathtaking sunset panorama reflecting over the water.

Your first stop of this day is the renowned Tham Jang caves, historically used by locals as a refuge from Chinese invaders.

Following this, we’ll journey through picturesque paddy fields to reach the Tham Phoukham caves, famous for their stunning limestone formations amidst lush forest surroundings. Along the route, you’ll have the opportunity to interact with local villagers and gain insight into their daily lives. At the caves, a natural pool awaits where you can swim and cool off from the warmth of the day.

After breakfast, we embark on an express train journey to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival, our team will greet you and escort you to your hotel.
After a brief rest, our first stop is The National Museum housed in the former Royal Palace, which showcases a captivating array of artifacts that depict the cultural tapestry of Laos across centuries.

Next, we ascend Mount Phousi to admire a sacred, gilded stupa and soak in a panoramic view of the city as the sun sets. Our exploration continues at the Night Market, renowned for its locally crafted textiles by artisans from Luang Prabang and surrounding hill tribes.

Today, we embark on an upstream cruise along the Mekong River, treating ourselves to breathtaking views of the serene countryside. Our first stop is the Pak Ou Caves, ancient sanctuaries housing thousands of Buddha images within two expansive caverns.
En route, we’ll pause at several villages, including Ban Muangkeo, renowned for its local rice wine, and Ban Xiengmene.
A highlight of the day includes a visit to Wat Chomphet, where we can enjoy panoramic views of Luang Prabang across the river.

Upon our return to Luang Prabang, we’ll take a short drive to Ban Xang Khong and Ban Xieng Lek, quaint villages celebrated for their silk weavings and traditional Saa (jute) papermaking.
