Your 1 week in Cambodia adventure begins at the majestic Angkor Wat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992. Here, marvel at the world’s longest continuous bas-relief that narrates tales from Hindu mythology.
Accompanied by our knowledgeable guide, you’ll proceed to the historic Angkor Thom, the final and most enduring capital of the Khmer Empire. Here, you’ll explore its impressive temples, royal palaces, and defensive moats, all constructed in the grand Bayon style. Notice the intricate bas-reliefs at the South Gate which illustrates the mythological churning of the ocean of milk.
Our tour continues with a visit to the iconic Bayon Temple, famous for its 54 towers adorned with over 200 serene faces of Avolokitesvara, and the nearby Royal Enclosure, which houses the ancient Angkor Kings’ palace complex.
