Today, you will explore some of Bangkok’s famous attractions. Take the sky train to Taksin Station, then board a public boat on the Chao Phraya River to see the Wat Pho temple complex, where there is a famous 46-meter-long Buddha statue. Immerse yourself in the beautiful scenery and then return to Tha Tien Pier.

The rest of the afternoon is on your own. You can explore the city’s famous attractions such as the Grand Palace or Jim Thompson’s house. Tonight, you will take the night train south to Surat Thani.

We arrived in the southern of Surat Thani this morning and then boarded a bus and ferry to travel to Koh Samui. Starting from there, there will be waterfalls, swimming, sunbathing, and snorkeling every day (for the next two days).
Koh Samui, Thailand
Upon arrival, you will take Songthaew (a traditional Thai bus) for a half-day island tour guide and visit the iconic 15-meter Buddha (Wat Phra Yai). Koh Samui has been a popular tourist destination for decades because of its beautiful scenery and natural wonders. This afternoon, you can relax at Namouang Falls.

Today, you can spend the day as you like swimming, sunbathing, or actively exploring. You can choose to take a slow boat or visit Ang Thong National Ocean Park offshore for one day. The park is an archipelago of more than 40 islands in the Gulf of Thailand, with pristine beaches, jungles, mangroves, and limestone mountains.
Mu Ko Ang Thong National Park
Swim on the popular Ko Mae Island and explore the Tel Nai Salt Water Lagoon (Emerald Lake). For a quieter experience and fantastic snorkeling opportunities, please visit nearby Ko Tao Island and Ko Nang Yuan Island. Koh Samui is also home to an elephant sanctuary. You can get close to these gentle giants if you like.

This morning, we depart from Koh Samui and head to Khao Sok National Park. Take Songthaew and an early morning ferry from Koh Samui Pier to Don Sak Pier. Then, take a private car to Chiew Larn Lake, where you will board a traditional long-tail boat and sail calmly to your floating house. Open your eyes wide and look at wild elephants, gibbons, and spectacled monkeys.
Khao Sok National Park
Khao Sok National Park is the wettest place in Thailand, with the oldest jungle in the world. Admire many incredible limestone rock formations and if you’re lucky, you can see the monkeys play around. Later, you will embark on a night hunt where you will take a long-tail boat into the center of the jungle to observe more animals. Afterward, return to your floating house and be welcomed by the enthusiastic owner.
Enjoy the traditional southern Thai dinner cooked at home with the locals and take the opportunity to learn about their lifestyles and stories before falling asleep to the relaxing sounds of the surrounding jungle.

This morning, you will wake up in the world’s oldest evergreen rainforest. Your incredible house floating in the jungle is right in the park, so this morning, you will have time to see the mist drifting along the lake. Take a long tail boat to search for wildlife in the jungle. Before lunch, take a hiking trip in the jungle around the park. Depending on the season, you may see waterfalls or climb high to enjoy the panoramic view.
Khao Sok National Park
Then, you will bid farewell to the jungle and head to Phuket Island. On the way, visit the Khao Lak Tsunami Memorial Hall to learn about the tragic history of past tsunami and their victims in the region. Next, proceed to the Royal Thai Navy Turtle Conservation Center located in Pangga. You will understand how the Navy saves eggs from the surrounding beaches, where the necessary environment is no longer guaranteed. Later, check into your accommodation and enjoy a free evening in Phuket.
