The Saigon to Buon Me Thuot 6 days tour will begin with a full day exploring Ho Chi Minh City. Starting in the morning, you will visit the Reunification Palace, formerly the residence of the President of South Vietnam until the end of April 1975. Near the palace are some remarkable French colonial structures, such as Notre Dame Cathedral, etc. After that, visit the War Remnants Museum, Jade Emperor Pagoda, and Ben Thanh Market.

Then, continue to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground network of approximately 200 km built by Vietnamese soldiers during the long struggle for independence. The tunnels contained hospitals, accommodations, and schools, and were used as a military base for the Vietcong during the Vietnam War.

Breakfast at the hotel and then transfer to the airport for a flight to Buon Me Thuot, famous for being the best coffee plantation in Vietnam. As soon as you arrive, our driver and tour guide will meet you at the airport and start the journey to Buon Don, where you will visit the house of elephants.

After lunch, you will pass through the village of B’Lieng Muong. In the evening, have dinner while admiring a traditional dance and listening to gong music (This activity is organized for groups of approximately 8 people).

Then, visit the ethnographic museum and the village of Aco Dhong, where the Ede lives.

Take the road to Lak village, the residence of the Mnong Rlam ethnic group. You will also have the chance to meet elephants, feed them, and bathe them. Then, take a canoe ride to the village of M’lien on Lak Lake.

After breakfast, you will be driven to Yok Don National Park, a typical national park in Vietnam with several animals of great economic value. Covering an area of more than 115,500 hectares, Yok Don National Park represents an ideal refuge for wild animals, including primates, sciurids, and hoofed mammals, which are characteristic of South Asian wildlife.

You can walk for 2 hours in the forest and then take a sampan ride on the Serepok River.

Return to Buon Me Thuot. If time permits, stop at Buon Me Thuot Ethnographic Museum to discover the ethnic richness of the entire region.
