Saigon – Ho Chi Minh City

Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at hotel and transfer to Vung Tau, about 125 kilometers Southeast of Ho Chi Minh City. This region is known as Cap Saint Jacques under the French colony. Here, you will visit the Jesus Christ Statue, climb up to the top and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic view of Vung Tau city.

Then, head to the famous sightseeing spot Nghinh Phong cape, which is literally translated as Cape of Welcoming Breeze. The cape is the cliff of Vung Tau and offers unobstructed views of Vung Tau City as well as the East Sea. Pay a visit to Bao Dai’ s White Palace (Bao Dai was the last King of Vietnam’ s feudal dynasty) before having a short break at Thuy Van beach.

After that, back to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Have dinner at a nice restaurant. Overnight in Saigon.

We will pick you up in the morning and take you to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a major part of the Vietnam-American War and a must-visit destination during your 5 days in Saigon. Explore the mysterious tunnels, find hidden doors and once-deadly traps.

After lunch, we will go back to Ho Chi Minh City and spend the whole afternoon visiting the War Remnants Museum. Then, stroll around the city’s streets to the Old Saigon Post Office, Dong Khoi Street, Continental Hotel, and Opera House.

08.00 AM: Our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel to depart for My Tho (around 1.5 hours of driving). On arrive in My Tho, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, then take a wooden motor boat (20 minutes) to Unicorn Island. Boating along the river’s bank, you will be passing through natural creeks, interesting fisherman’s ports, and stilt houses (half on land, half on water).

From there, we will take you to a bee farm where you have a chance to taste a mouth-watering cup of authentic honey tea. Then, wander around quiet villages and watch the life of local people in the Mekong Delta, witness all kind of interesting means of transportation that local people use to move around. Enjoy the fresh air along the canal and beautiful water coconut tree scenery while coming across local souvenir shops where you can buy coconut candy and handcrafted items from coconut trees of Mekong Delta. Also, learn how people amazingly make dozens of useful products out of coconut trees.

The boat stops at a seasonable orchard that has many different types of tasty tropical fruits for your enjoyments. Try these fruits while listening to tranditional folk music of people in Southern Vietnam.
