Upon your arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport, our driver will greet you and transfer you to the hotel in the city center.
Check in to the hotel and the rest of the day is yours to discover the city.

After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a scenic drive to Kampong Cham.
En route, discover the Khmer temples of Phnom Pros and Phnom Srey (these were the sites of numerous executions during the Khmer Rough era). Then, visit Wat Nokor an Angkorian temple built in the 12th century.
Arrive in Kampong Cham in the early afternoon. Check in to the hotel.
In the afternoon, cross the Mekong River to visit the Chup Rubber Plantation, established in the fertile “red lands” of Cambodia at the beginning of the 20th century.

After breakfast at the hotel, take the road to Kompong Thom.
En route, visit Wat Kohar Nokor, which was built in the 11 century during the reign of Suryavarman I and its neighboring village.
Stop for a moment in Phum Prasat Temple to admire the pre-Angkorian tower located inside the ground.
Upon your arrival in Kompong Thom, check in to the hotel.
In the afternoon, visit Sambor Prei Kuk – the ancient capital of Chenla (early 7th century). This is home to some of Cambodia’s most impressive pre-Angkorian monuments, with more than 100 temples scattered throughout the lush forest.

Visit traditional Cambodian villages along the way and stop at Naga Bridge, an ancient Angkorian bridge still in use today.
In the afternoon, visit the remains of Roluos Group: including Preah Ko (the mountain temple of Bakong) and the temple of Lolei (built in the center of an ancient water reservoir). These attractions house the remains of Hariharalaya, the first and most important capital established in the Angkor region.

Visit the ancient capital of Angkor Thom. Start at the South Gate, you will check out the Bayon Temple, the Royal Palace, the temple of Phimeanakas, the Terrace of Leper King, and the Terrace of the Elephants.
In the afternoon, discover Angkor Wat, which is dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu. Built by King Suryavarman II, this massive temple is considered a masterpiece of Khmer art and architecture.

Then, explore the Preah Khan Monastery, whose name means “Sacred Sword”, the small temple of Neak Pean, and finally Ta Som. Built by Jayavarman VII, these three temples bear witness to the pre-eminence of Mahayana Buddhism during his reign.
In the afternoon, continue to visit the twin temples of Thommanon and Chau Say Tevoda (built in the early 12th century), the unfinished mountain temple of Ta Keo, the scared pond of Srah Srang, Banteay Kdei, and Ta Prohm.

Then, visit the Phnom Kulen range and go for a forest walk to Kbal Spean – the River of 1000 Lingas whose rock base is carved with numerous symbols of the Hindu god Shiva. In popular belief, the Lingas brought fertility to the water which irrigated the rice fields below.
You will also have a chance to discover the famous temple of Banteay Srei – the Citadel of Women. This small pink sandstone temple is considered the jewel of classical Khmer art because of the elaboration and beauty of the sculptures.
Continue the road towards Banteay Samre, which has been admirably restored.

After breakfast at the hotel and depart for Tonle Sap Lake, visit the floating fishing village of Chong Kneas on the lake.
Then, board a traditional boat (6-7 hours of sailing) to Battambang. You first cross Tonle Sap Lake to join the Sangker River. Then, go upstream through the Prek Toal Biosphere – a migratory bird reserve and some floating villages before reaching Battambang.
Have a picnic lunch on board.

Visit the Angkorian temple of Phnom Banan, which is located on the top of a hill.
Then, you will return to Battambang to discover the Provincial Museum. During a walking tour of the city center, admire its colonial architecture, colorful temples, and Chinese compartments.
In the afternoon, continue hiking along the Sangker River amidst delightful landscapes to Wat Slaket – the residence of the Buddhist Patriarch to explore the temple of Wat Ek Phnom.
Return to Battambang, and stop at a market in Prahok en route.

Have breakfast at the hotel then take the road to Kampong Chhnang, through the fertile rice-growing plains of Western Cambodia, the country’s rice granary.
En route, stop for a boat trip at the floating village of Kompong Luong.
Next, visit the pottery villages around Kampong Chhnang, located at the confluence of Tonle Sap Lake and the Tonle Sap River.
Continue the road towards Phnom Penh. Stop at the abandoned royal city of Oudong (early 17th century) to visit temples and stupas covering the hills.
