Get back to your half-day city tour. You will visit the Temple of Literature, which is also known as the Confucian Temple of Hanoi. This is the first university in Vietnam. The temple is a symbol of studiousness, where thousands of students come here every year to wish luck before their exams.
The next destination is Hoa Lo Prison. This is the place where the American prisoners in the war in Vietnam were kept. A fun fact for you: this prison was once called “Hanoi Hilton” – a nickname was given by American pilots.

At 8:30 am, you will depart to the famous UNESCO World Heritage Site, Halong Bay.

Continue the journey to the Ta Van village. It is where Dzay people are living. Explore the beautiful village to learn about their unique culture.
Free time before transfer back to the train station. Return to Hanoi by the night train.
