With this Mu Cang Chai 3 days itinerary, tourists are drawn to the stunning beauty of the Northwest mountains of Vietnam. In September, Mu Cang Chai’s terraced rice fields transform into a yellow wonderland, and the Mong people, who reside in this region, have skillfully crafted the field into a breathtaking architectural masterpiece that resembles the fingerprints of heaven.
To reach Mu Cang Chai, you must traverse the Khau Pha Pass, one of Vietnam’s four greatest mountain passes, which winds through local villages and offers stunning views of the rice fields. You will also have a chance to indulge in natural hot spring bathing in Luot village with this program.
Get up early in the morning, our guide will pick you up at the hotel and depart for Mu Cang Chai. Have breakfast in Son Tay.
Along the route, you will stop at Thanh Son Tea Hill.
Continue the journey to Muong Lo which is famous for the specialties of the Thai people such as stream moss, black truffle cake, Ban flower mannequin, and Tu Le sticky rice, etc. You stop for lunch at the restaurant and learn about the local culinary culture.
After that, you continue your Mu Cang Chai 3 days tour to Khau Pha pass, one of the four great peaks in the North. In the Thai language, it means the Horn of Heaven, where heaven and earth harmonize. Admire and take pictures at Khau Pha pass, and see Lim Mong and Lim Thai from above.
Continue the journey to Luot village (in Ngoc Chien district, Son La province), you are free to have a private bathroom or take a collective bath at the hot mineral springs of Luot village. Immerse yourself in the warm water to dispel fatigue and stress.

Continue the journey to Tu Le, a small town located in the middle of a valley surrounded by terraced fields. Have lunch at a local restaurant.
