Our Guide will greet you at the airport with a name placard. Check into hotel. Yangon, formerly Rangoon, is tranquil and attractive. Yangon’s colonial and spiritual traditions make it one of South-East Asia’s most authentic capitals. Afternoon: 2.5-hour walking tour of Yangon. Highlights include City Hall, the High Court, and the former Burma Railways Company, one of Yangon’s oldest administrative buildings.
Continue to Shwedagon Pagoda, Myanmar’s most famous temple. Local folklore says the pagoda was built 2500 years ago and refurbished multiple times until the 15th century. Your guide will show you around the huge complex, explaining why this temple is so cherished. The 8-sided center stupa is 99 meters tall and coated with gold leaf. From here, see the golden stupa.

After breakfast, you’ll take a land trip to Kyaik Hto to go to the Golden Rock (driving hour about 4 hours). We stop at the Htaukkyant War Cemetery on the way. Then move on to driving overland to Golden Rock.
When you get to the pilgrim village, you can begin your journey to the famous Golden Rock. First, we take a truck from our hotel in Kyaikhtiyo, and then we trek to Golden Rock. It takes about an hour up the hill to get to Golden Rock, where we can watch the sunset. The famous “Golden Rock” is a sacred, huge gold-leafed boulder that is carefully balanced on the edge of a cliff near the top of Mt. Kyaikhtiyo. It is one of the most revered Buddhist shrines.

After breakfast in the morning, check out the hotel. Then, take a coach back to Yangon. On the way, stop in Bago, which is only 80 km away and was the ancient capital of the Mon Kingdom in the 15th century. Enjoy Bago’s sights, such as the 55-meter-long Shwethalyaung Reclining Buddha, the Shwemawdaw Pagoda, the Myo Ma Local Market, the 28-meter-high huge Buddha Image of Kyaikpun Pagoda, the Chinese Kwanyin Temple, and Kanbawzathardi Palace of King Bayinnaung .

After breakfast, you’ll head to Bagan. Start our tour at Nyaung Oo Market. Next will be Shwezigone Pagoda, where the Frontlet Relic of Buddha was kept, Gubyaukgyi Temple, which is known for its wall paintings, Htilominlo Pagoda, which is one of Bagan’s biggest temples and known for its fine plaster carvings, Ananda Okkyaung, which is a brick with monastery murals from the 18th century, and Dhammayangyi Pagoda (extending approximately 255 feet on each of its four sides)
After lunch, you’ll visit a family workshop to see how lacquerware, one of Myanmar’s most famous handicrafts, is made. Then you will visit Thatbyinnyu Pagoda, which is almost 217 feet tall and is Bagan’s tall temple, and Nanpaya temple (a unique sandstone monument). Then continue our tour with Shwesandaw Pagoda, which is the most popular place in Bagan to watch the sunset.

Fly to Mandalay in the morning. Mandalay is Myanmar’s cultural capital. The city’s main natural feature is a steep hill that rises above a large square surrounded by walls and a moat.
Visit Mahamuni Pagoda, which has a 13-foot-tall seated Buddha that is one of Myanmar’s most famous sights. You can continue your tour of Mandalay by visiting Kuthodaw Pagoda. It is called the “World’s Biggest Book” because it has 729 marble stone slabs with Buddhist scriptures on them. Continue to Shwenandaw Monastery, which is the only building left from the Royal Palace in the 1800s. The beautiful wood carvings on this grand teak building are well-known.
You will go to the top of Mandalay Hill to see the city and the Irrawaddy River from a great vantage point.
In the afternoon, we’ll drive to Amarapura, a city that used to be the capital and whose name means “City of Eternity.” First, you should go to a silk weaving workshop that makes beautiful handmade items. Then, you should go to Mahagandayon monastery, where more than a thousand monks live. After seeing this peaceful place, go to U Bein Bridge, which is 200 years old and the longest teak bridge in the world. Take a walk across the bridge and look at the beautiful farms and streams around you.

After breakfast, you’ll be driven to the airport and put on a plane to Heho.
On arrival at Heho airport, you will transfer to Inle Lake and spend the whole day on a boat ride. The first stop on your tour will be the Phaungdawoo Pagoda, which has five small Buddha statues inside. A festival is held at the temple every year. It usually takes place in October and is the biggest event in the Inlet Lake area. Nag Phi Chaung Monastery is the next place you must see. It is a beautiful wooden monastery built on stilts over the lake at the end of the 1850s. Here, you can see the famous jumping cats leap through the hoops. You can also visit the Padaung, also known as the “Copper Neck” hill tribe. The next part of your tour will be a stop at local shops that sell silk, lotus, and traditional iron work. If you have time, you can visit a place where Shan paper is made before going to your hotel for the night.
You can spend the night on Inle Lake.
After breakfast in the morning, you’ll be taken to the airport to catch your flight back to Yangon.
After arriving at Yangon Airport, you’ll go to Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda, which is known for its huge image of a reclining Buddha. It was built in 1966 to replace the old image in 1907. You will also visit Kandawgyi Lake and the areas around it, which are perfect for taking photos.
Next, Go shopping at the Bogyoke market, which used to be called the “Scott market.” There, you can buy a wide range of handicrafts, jewelry, fabrics, and lacquerware from Myanmar. Depending on time permission, your guide will take you to the famous MK gems shop, where high-quality gems are shown in eight different showrooms.
Then, you’ll transfer to Yangon International Airport for your flight back home.
