Upon landing in Hanoi, the first destination of your Indochina in 16 days tour, you will be met at the airport by our friendly driver and transferred to your hotel. The capital of Vietnam, Hanoi is rich in history and culture.

You’ll spend your first day exploring its bustling streets. Discover the local cuisine, wander through the lively markets, or simply relax in a lovely café.

Your day will begin with an 8:00 am departure for Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy the scenic journey to the coast.

Upon arrival, board a beautiful cruise ship and begin your journey across the bay. Lunch will be served as you sail past thousands of limestone islands and islets.

After lunch, explore the amazing cave, take part in activities such as kayaking and swimming, or simply relax on the deck. In the evening, you can enjoy a drink while admiring the sunset over the bay.

Wake up to a serene morning on the bay and enjoy breakfast on the boat. The cruise will continue with a visit to a pearl-farming village.

Today, after breakfast at the hotel, you will have free time to explore the peaceful morning of the capital city. Later, take a flight to Ho Chi Minh City, where you will be transferred to your hotel upon arrival. The rest of the day is yours to discover this city at your leisure.

Today is an exciting journey through Ho Chi Minh City’s historical sites, starting with the iconic Reunification Palace. Admire the stunning French colonial architecture of Notre Dame Cathedral and learn about its fascinating history. You’ll continue to the War Remnants Museum for a thought-provoking look at the realities of the Vietnam War.

Cu Chi Tunnels Tour

After lunch, you will head to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a vast underground network that played a crucial role during wartime. Delve into the tunnels, learn about the living conditions of the Viet Cong guerrillas, and enjoy traditional tea and cassava. You will then return to the city for the night.

After breakfast, you will leave Ho Chi Minh City for Ben Tre in the Mekong Delta.

Siem Reap, Cambodia

Once you arrive in Cambodia, you can rest or start discovering the charms of this historic city.

Today you will explore the ancient temples of Angkor. Start with Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Khmer Empire, then continue to the enigmatic Ta Prohm, where trees mingle with ancient ruins.

Lunch at a local restaurant will be followed by an afternoon visit to the magnificent Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world. The day will end with a buffet dinner and a traditional Khmer dance performance, giving you a glimpse of Cambodia‘s rich culture.

You will set off to explore the temple complex of Koh Ker, exploring its deserted ruins. On the way back, visit the temples of Prasat Neang Khmaw and Prasat Pram.

After lunch near Beng Mealea, you will explore this overgrown temple, which has remained undiscovered for centuries. End the day at Banteay Srey, known as the “jewel” of Angkor.

Start your morning with some free time in Siem Reap, soaking up the serene ambiance before boarding your flight to the enchanting Luang Prabang, Laos.

Today, a visit to the Center for Traditional Art and Ethnology will allow you to learn more about the diverse ethnic cultures of Laos.

You will discover Wat Xieng Thong, then go up the Mekong River to the Pak Ou caves, famous for their Buddha statues.

On the way back, stop at Ban Xanghai. In the afternoon, you will explore the main sites of the city and admire the sunset from Mount Phousi.

After breakfast in Luang Prabang, depart for the magnificent Kuang Si Waterfall. You can cool off in the turquoise pools or walk on the surrounding forest trails.

Before you leave, be sure to visit the nearby Butterfly Park, which features a variety of vibrant butterflies and local flora.

In the afternoon, embark on a scenic drive to Vang Vieng. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel and spend the evening relaxing or exploring this quaint little town, known for its stunning limestone karsts and tranquil river.

In the morning, visit the local market in a typical Lao rural area and the organic farm in Vang Vieng. Then, explore Tham Jang Cave and visit Ban Huai Ngae village to observe local lifestyles.

In the afternoon, cycle to the cool blue waters of the Blue Lagoon, which is 7 km away, and explore Tham Phoukham Cave. You will end your day with a serene longtail boat ride along the Nam Song River to watch the sunset.

Enjoy some free time in the morning to explore more of Vang Vieng or simply relax. After lunch, you will start your journey to Vientiane.

En route, stop at Ban Houy Mo, a charming fishing village, and visit the archaeological site of Vang Xang, known for its ancient Buddha statues dating from the 11th century.

Upon arrival in Vientiane, check into your hotel and relax, perhaps taking an evening stroll along the banks of the Mekong.

Start your day in Vientiane with a visit to Wat Sisaket, one of the most beautiful and serene temples in the city. Next, explore Wat Phra Keo, which today serves as a religious museum and features a collection of Lao and Khmer artwork.

You will also be able to visit the COPE association, whose duty is to help victims of landmines. After lunch, admire the Patuxai monument, the Viennese version of the Arc de Triomphe. You will conclude your visit to Pha That Luang, the most sacred monument in Laos.

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and some free time in Vientiane. You can visit a local market to pick up some last-minute souvenirs or simply relax at a cafe.

Later you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your memorable trip through Vietnam-Cambodia-Laos in 16 days.
