Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a guide and driver who will accompany you on a picturesque 1-hour journey through the stunning Shan hills to reach the town of Nyaung Shwe, which serves as the entrance to Inle Lake. Situated at an elevation of 900 meters above sea level, Inle Lake is the second-largest lake in Myanmar and is renowned for its distinctive one-leg rowing technique practiced by the local Intha people.

Early this morning, the 2nd day of your 6 days in Myanmar will start with a motorboat tour for sightseeing. Your first stop will be the Phaungdawoo Pagoda, famous for its meticulously gilded five small Buddha images, considered the most sacred in Inle Lake. Continuing your journey, you will visit Ngaphechaung, and as you venture further to Nam Pan village, you will be captivated by the traditional Intha way of life showcased through the cotton and lotus weaving factory as well as the cigar-making houses.

In the morning, you will have the opportunity to explore the vibrant “Five Day Market”, which is held in a different village surrounding the lake each day. After enjoying a delicious lunch, your boat will transport you to the enchanting Shwe Indein Temple, situated on a hill overlooking the lake. As you stroll along the corridors, you can immerse yourself in the serene ambiance and marvel at the ancient giant columns that have stood the test of time.

Your journey continues with visits to the exquisite Ananda Temple and the remarkable Sulamani Temple.

As you bid farewell to the majestic temples of Bagan, your 5th-day journey of Myanmar in 6 days continues with a scenic drive towards Mt Popa. Here, you will have the opportunity to join pilgrims as they make their way up the mountain, marveling at the peculiar statues that line the path and encountering the playful monkeys that call this mountain home. Once you reach the summit, you can unwind and immerse yourself in the breathtaking views of the surrounding Bagan landscape.

Then, you will board a flight back to Yangon, where upon arrival, our driver and tour guide will warmly greet you. They will accompany you to your hotel, where you can proceed with the check-in process and take some time to relax after an eventful day.

Today, your knowledgeable guide will meet you at your hotel, and together you will head to the Central Yangon Railway Station. From there, you’ll start an immersive journey aboard the circular train, a beloved local mode of transportation that provides a unique perspective of the city during the approximately 1-hour ride.
