Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Ha Giang or greet you upon your arrival in Ha Giang province in the morning and transfer a few kilometers outside of Ha Giang City. You’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the mountains and surrounding scenery.
Our first stop will be at Tam Son town, where we will cross Bac Sum Pass and go up the Heaven Gate to take in the stunning of twin mountains and the panoramic view of Tam Son. Next, we will head towards Yen Minh, and savor a delicious lunch here.
Continue our journey towards Dong Van, and travel through the picturesque Chin Khoanh pass. The Dong Van Karst Plateau, a significant heritage site in Vietnam, is characterized by endless rice fields, thousands of limestone rocks, and awe-inspiring views. You’ll get an up-close view of hill-tribe villages, where local people work on the land. For those who are interested, the driver can take you to the Chinese border and the famous northernmost viewpoint in Vietnam.
Stop to visit the Hmong King’s Palace as the final destination of the first day of the Ha Giang tour. Hmong King’s Palace was once home to the Vuong family in Sa Phin.
In the late afternoon, we will arrive in Dong Van, and enjoy a delicious dinner after a day full of adventures. Free to explore and overnight in Dong Van.

After enjoying a scrumptious breakfast at the homestay, our adventure begins in Dong Van Town, where our skilled motorbike rider will take you to the most stunning part of the whole trip to Ha Giang. The Happiness Road, connecting Dong Van and Meo Vac towns, takes us to Ma Pi Leng Pass. This legendary pass is famous for its rugged cliffs and breathtaking views, making it the most challenging pass in the north and often referred to as the “king” of passes in Vietnam.
Trek the awe-inspiring Sky Path to witness the full beauty of the valley and Nho Que River, enjoy a 360 degree panorama of Ma Pi Leng Pass and capture unforgettable photos.
Stand atop the peak of the pass, you will be overwhelmed by the majestic expanse of mountains and rivers. Our journey continues to more remote villages, such as Lung Ho, Mau Due, and Meo Vac, where we will take a break for lunch and drinks.
In the afternoon, we will continue our adventure through the mountainous trail road to Du Gia Village, which boasts a vibrant landscape and is home to seven ethnic minorities residing in the same village. You will be enthralled by the colorful village and diverse culture. Spend the night at a homestay with a Tay Minority family, enjoying a delicious dinner with them.

After having breakfast and bidding farewell to our homestay host, we continue our journey with the same exhilarating feeling of nature and landscape. On our last day of 3 days Ha Giang tour, we’ll take the road back to Ha Giang city, but the adventure doesn’t end there!
After a two-hour drive, we’ll arrive at the famous Lung Khuy cave, which is approximately 300m in length and adorned with magnificent stalactites and curious face shapes that will spark your imagination.
Pass through Quan Ba town and catch a glimpse of Co Tien mountain, which is said to resemble a fairy’s breasts. After crossing the Sky Gate, we return to Bac Sum pass, marking the end of our adventurous ride.
