Cross the picturesque landscapes of the Cambodian countryside to reach the Chau Srei Vibol temple, partially in ruins and surrounded by a moat. Then, head to the freshly restored Banteay Srei Temple, a tribute to the god Shiva, notable for its pink sandstones and well-preserved decorative sculptures.
Have lunch at a local restaurant before heading back to Siem Reap to visit the Banteay Samre. This temple stands out for its exemplary conservation. Inside this temple is full of lush carvings, depicting figures from the Hindu pantheon and scenes from the Ramayana.

This morning, embark on a cruise trip to explore the floating villages on Tonle Sap Lake, where everything adapts to the rhythms of seasonal waters, from mosques to aquaculture farms and housing. Cross the wetlands of the Tonle Sap Biosphere Reserve to see crocodiles and various kinds of birds.
After that, you will continue by road to Battambang through the vast expanses of rice fields. Check in to the hotel in Battambang and the rest of the day is yours to explore this region.

In the afternoon, enjoy a bamboo train ride. A bamboo train is a bamboo platform with straw mat seats placed on wheels, propelled by a motorcycle engine. Prepare for an adrenaline rush as you race down the track for seven kilometers.
Next, you will head to Phnom Sampeau, a limestone eminence with numerous caves traditionally serving as Buddhist temples. At dusk, witness the spectacle of thousands of bats emerging from the cave to feed.

This morning, leave Phnom Penh and head west to Cardamom Mountains National Park, which protects a wide variety of ecosystems. This park is home to Cambodia’s endangered mammals, such as the Asiatic black bear, Asian wild dog, clouded leopard, etc.
After a short mid-afternoon boat ride, you will arrive at the luxurious Canvas & Orchids Hideaway – a tented camp on the banks of the Tatai River. Check-in and spend time soaking up the sun or swimming in the tranquil river. You can also kayak to observe wildlife or even take an optional sunset cruise.
Have dinner and stay the night at the camp.

Today’s activity will consist of a boat cruise or hike through the lush lowland ecosystems of the Cardamom Mountains. Each of these options offers a great opportunity to spot some of the country’s endangered species.
The boat cruise will take you upstream to the spectacular Tatai Waterfall, a large waterfall that thunders in winter. In summer, when the flow decreases, you can swim in the pools at the base. With a bit of luck, you might spot the Irrawaddy dolphins swimming alongside your boat.
On the hike, you will meet fishing families and hope to spot some of the area’s many rare animals and birds.
Return to the camp in the late afternoon. Have dinner and stay the night.

This morning, you will pass through durian plantations and rice fields to La Plantation, a farm specializing in aromatic plants like ginger, turmeric, chili peppers, etc.
You will wander through the farm and learn to distinguish different types of peppers. Our local guide will also tell you about the cultivation of rice and other local agricultural products.
Later, enjoy a buffalo cart ride through the local countryside, around the picturesque Secret Lake.
After lunch at the plantation, you will continue south to the resort town of Kep for the night. Check in to the hotel in Kep and relax.
