Your Angkor 10 days tour will start in the afternoon with the first visit to Koh Dach on a ferry ride. Visit temples, tropical plantations, schools, markets, and rice fields along the way.

Breakfast at the hotel. Take a 45-minute rickshaw ride to visit the Royal Palace of Phnom Penh. Start your visit with the magnificent palace gardens, adorned with many types of tropical plants, followed by the Throne Room, where official receptions and the coronation of the king take place. Then, you will cross the Napoleon III Pavilion, made of steel, a gift offered to the Cambodian royal family by the French emperor in the 19th century.
Then, you will arrive at the Silver Pagoda, named after the 5,000 silver tiles that cover its floor. It houses Cambodia’s most extraordinary treasures, such as a golden Buddha adorned with 9,584 diamonds, the largest of which is 25 carats. You can also admire a delicate emerald Buddha, which gives the temple its Khmer name of Wat Preah Keo. Next, you will learn about the horror and scale of the crimes committed by the Khmer Rouge regime in Cambodia between 1975 and 1979.
Discover Tuol Sleng – a museum in Phnom Penh that was once a high school transformed into a torture and death center by the Khmer Rouge regime.
As part of your 10 days in Angkor, you will visit the National Museum of Fine Arts in Phnom Penh, which houses a magnificent collection of sculptures dating back to the Angkor period. Then, you will explore this constantly changing metropolis by crossing the Vat Phnom and the Independent Monument.

After breakfast, leave for Chnoc Trou. On the way, stop at the goldsmith village in Kampong Loung, 36 km from Phnom Penh to admire the hill of Oudon (former capital of Cambodia from the 17th to the 19th century). Then, you will take the road to Kampong Chnang, the city known for pottery.
Board a private boat to the Kampong Leng peninsula in your next Cambodia itinerary 10 days. You will have the chance to discover Kampong Leng by tuk-tuk (motorcycle cart). Admire the local activities of weaving mats and baskets, and then the Citadel of the Women – a pre-Angkorian tower sanctuary from the 7th century. On return from Kampong Chhang, you will transfer by local private boat to Phat Sanday village. If the weather permits, you can take a boat trip through the village to see local activities.

Early in the morning, go fishing with traps or nets and then return to the hotel for breakfast. Discover the rich flora and fauna, such as monkeys, birds, and flooded forests. Then go up the Stung Sen River to reach the city of Kampong Thom. You will be met by our driver.

You will spend a day visiting the ancient Angkorian capital of Koh Ker, exploring its lost treasures and authentic Cambodian villages. Next, you will climb the seven-level pyramid of Prasat Thom and visit the Red Temple and Prasat Krahom, enjoying a quieter and more deserted temple experience compared to Angkor.
On the way back, visit Prasat Beng Mealea whose current state is dominated by jungle, trees have grown on the towers and roots, and vines entwine the columns.
You will arrive in Siem Reap at the end of the afternoon.

After breakfast at the hotel, depart by private car for a short round-trip hike of 1.5 hours to Kbal Spean (the river of a thousand lingas), 49 km north of Angkor.
As the source of Angkor’s water supply, the waves of Kbal Spean once irrigated the rice fields of the ancient city. In its riverbed, the Khmers carved Shiva and stone squares used to bless the waters before they reached the Royal City. Continue your visits to the mythical Banteay Srei and the Citadel of Women. This jewel of pink sandstone houses remarkable lintels sculpted in an incredible state of preservation.
In the afternoon, on the way back to Siem Reap, stop to admire the palm sugar production, taste Cambodian pastry and visit the romantic temple of Banteay Samre, nicknamed “miniature Angkor Wat.”
