Our first stop will be at Tad Lo, a breathtaking spot featuring three distinct waterfalls with crystal-clear cascades.
In the afternoon, our adventure continues to the Tad Yuang and Tad Fane waterfalls, where we’ll also have the opportunity to visit a local coffee and/or tea plantation, immersing ourselves in the region’s agricultural practices.

This morning, we journey to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Wat Phou, an awe-inspiring pre-Angkorian temple. After marveling at its ancient splendor, we’ll return to Champasak, passing through streets adorned with French colonial architecture.
After lunch, we’ll make a brief stop at Ban Nong Bune, where you can witness skilled wood carvers practicing their craft.
Our day concludes with a trip to Khong Island, the largest in southern Laos and the gateway to the 4000 Islands Region.

After breakfast at the hotel, we set off on a cruise through the tranquil backwaters to explore Si Phan Done. In the rainy season, the Mekong River swells to a width of 14 kilometers, its broadest expanse in its long journey from the Tibetan Plateau to the East Sea. As the waters recede, they reveal thousands of islands and islets. Our exploration includes visits to Done Det and Done Som islands, offering insights into the traditional lifestyle of local fishermen.
We then proceed to Done Khone Island, where we’ll hike along an ancient railway, a French colonial legacy from 1897, built to navigate the Mekong’s powerful rapids.
Our journey continues with a tuk-tuk ride to Sumphamith Waterfall, followed by a cruise to spot dolphins in the Mekong River.
After returning to Ban Khone, we’ll take a local long boat to Nagasang and then travel by car to the awe-inspiring Khone Phapheng Waterfall, the Mekong’s largest cascade. This natural wonder, caused by a fault line, features dramatic gorges carved through the bedrock. You’ll have time for lunch at a local spot.
