Our 6 days Thailand historical adventure tour is an immersive journey that takes you through some of the most significant cultural and historical sites in Thailand. Starting in Bangkok, the tour begins with a visit to the iconic Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, home to the revered Emerald Buddha.
Next, the tour heads to Ayutthaya, the ancient capital of Siam, where you can explore the well-preserved ruins of former palaces, temples, and monasteries. Continuing on, the tour moves to Phitsanulok, where you’ll visit the historic Phra Buddha Chinnarat, and then on to Sukhothai, the first capital of Siam, known for its UNESCO-listed historical park.
Throughout the tour, you’ll learn about Thailand’s rich history, culture, and religion as you visit these fascinating sites. Along the way, you’ll also have the opportunity to try delicious Thai cuisine, interact with friendly locals, and enjoy breathtaking landscapes.
On arrival at Bangkok Airport, you are met and transferred to hotel. Check in and have free time at your own leisure.
Bangkok City
After breakfast, start 6 days Thailand historical adventure with a visit to Royal Grand Palace, which is dedicated to the Thai Royal Family’s ceremony.
In the same compound is the magnificent Wat Phra Kaew, which is famous for the Emerald Buddha Image. After visit these complexes, we followed by visit to Wat Pho, witness the gigantic Reclining Buddha.

Then, board on a long tail boat trip along the Chao Phraya River and many lively inner canals, enjoying fantastic views of the local life.
Along the way we make stopover at Wat Arun – the temple of Dawn before lunch at a floating restaurant. In the afternoon, we visit Wat Traimit, which is famous for the Golden Buddha before returning to hotel and free for relaxing.
Head out of the city and drive to Ayutthaya, the ancient capital of Siam from 1350 to 1767 AD. This glamorous city was all but ultimately destroyed by the Burmese; however it is still fascinating to explore the ruined temples. En route stop to visit Bang Sai, the Royal Folk Art & Craft Center support by Majestic Queen Sirikit. Continue to drive to Bang Pa In, visit the Royal Summer Palace.
Ayutthaya
Upon arrival in Ayutthaya, check in and lunch at the hotel.
In the afternoon, visit Wat Mahathat and Wat Phra Si Sanphet, an impressive monument that was used as the royal temple by several Thailand kings. Go to Wat Lokaya to visit a huge reclining Buddha and Wat Chai Wattanaram whose constructing patterns are very interesting.
In the evening, witness the light up of Wat Phra Si Sanphet, Wat Chai Wattanaram and drive around heritage sites of Ayutthaya.
Depart Ayutthaya in the early morning and drive directly to Phitsanulok, continue 6 days Thailand historical adventure.
Short stop at Sergeant-Major Dr.Thawee BuranaKhet Folklore Museum to witness a collection of folk arts, crafts, basketry, pottery and ancient kitchen utensils. There are also many agricultural and household instruments displayed here.
Sukhothai Historical Park
Continue to Sukhothai, the first capital of Thailand, founded in the 13th century. The superb palaces, temples and monuments of this great city have been lovingly restored in Sukhothai Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will be taken to visit, Wat Mahathat – the Royal temple with a giant chedi built to house Buddha relics brought from Sri Lanka; Wat Si Sawai with its three Hindu –style prangs; Wat Traphang Thong in the centre of a large pond and its Buddha Footprint; Wat Sa Si – an attractive temple with a large Singhalese Chedi, and Wat Traphang Ngoen on the Silver Lake.
In the evening we transfer to Wat Traphang Ngoen to join a festival of Loi Krathong.
After breakfast, enjoy your free time until our driver picks you up to the airport for a flight to Bangkok.
Transfer to hotel in Bangkok, check in and free to explore the city on your own way.
