5 Days Northern Vietnam Adventure

Upon your arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, our tour guide will pick you up to hotel with a brief introduction about Hanoi en route. Check in hotel and take a short break.

Start Hanoi street food tour, you will be brought to try the most mouth-watering street foods of Hanoi, learn about the local lifestyle and Vietnamese street food culture. Then, travel to Hanoi’s weekend night market, situated between Hang Ngang and Hang Dao streets. Explore this fascinating destination with plenty of street stalls bursting with souvenirs and other items.

Return to your hotel to rest after a long day.

08:00: Our tour guide and driver will pick up at your hotel in Hanoi and transfer Ninh Binh province (120 Kms). Start a day tour to visit Trang An and Bai Dinh Pagoda. Bai Dinh Pagoda is a religious complex covering a total area of 539 hectares, with both ancient and newly-renovated pagodas, parks, and lake systems. Stop at a local restaurant for lunch and take a short rest.

In the afternoon, your northern Vietnam tour continues with a visit to Trang An, another wonderful landscape of Ninh Binh province. You will take 2-hour rowing boat trip to indulge in the amazing nature and discover the labyrinth of caves. You will be taken through Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave in mystery and wildness, see the scenery of mountain and rivers of the “Halong Bay on land” of Ninh Binh.

Return to Hanoi at around 18:30 pm.

Free at leisure until our driver meet and transfer you to Hanoi railway station for the night train to Sapa (cabin of 4 people, soft sleeping berth).

The train arrives at around 06:00 am. Our tour guide will meet you at the station and pick you up to Sapa town.

After breakfast, you will start your adventure to Cat Cat village where you will get the first impression of  Sapa. Always keep your camera on to take hundreds of photos of the marvelous sceneries.

Turn back to your hotel by private car for relaxing after long trekking. Discover the charming Sapa Town, including Sapa market and Ham Rong at your own in the afternoon and evening.

After breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up for another long but really interesting trekking day to Lao Chai and Ta Van village of Black H’ Mong people and Dzay people. Join a local family’s daily activities for more cultural experiences. Have lunch en route or at a local family.

Back to your hotel after lunch. Free at your own leisure until our driver transfer you the train station for a night train back to Hanoi (cabin of 4 people, soft sleeping berth). Have dinner before departuring.

Upon arrival at Hanoi railway station, our driver will transfer you to a mini hotel for showering and relaxing. Then, have breakfast and start a morning city tour. See the grand Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (viewed from outside), the ‘icon of Hanoi’ – The One Pillar Pagoda, the beautiful Temple of Literature and the restored Sword Lake.

Have lunch at a local restaurant and transfer to the airport for your flight back home. End of 5 days northern Vietnam adventure. Goodbye and see you again!
