The Mekong Delta is filled with the brilliant colors of the huge rice paddies, shady orchards mixed with the alluvial red color of the Mekong River with thousands of canals covering the area. In this Mekong Delta 3 days journey, you can visit the famous destinations: Ben Tre, Long Xuyen. Then you will discover local culture, customs and habits of southern Vietnam, the most unique local cuisine in the river region.
To start the Mekong Delta 3 days journey, our car will pick you up at your hotel for your trip to Ben Tre, famous for the making of Coconut candies.
Arrive at Hung Vuong pier, we will take a boat on the Ben Tre River to experience local daily life. You will continue your canal trip to Nhon Thanh village and taste the fresh fruits. Take a bike (or tuk tuk) ride on a trail through the villages and enjoy the landscapes of coconut palms, rice paddies and vegetable gardens.

Lunch with elephant ear fish will be served in village. A short walk will allow you to discover local life in depth. Then take a boat trip on a small canal shaded by wild palm trees.
Landing at Ben Tre for a one-hour transfer to Cai Lay. As soon as you arrive, you will be warmly welcomed by the host of homestay family. You will participate in the preparation of Banh Xeo Nam Bo (traditional dish of this region) with your host.
Have dinner and overnight in Cai Lay. End of the first day of Mekong Delta tour.

In the second day of Mekong Delta itinerary, you will have breakfast at homestay and enjoy a bike ride (1-1.5 hours) on the way from Dong Hoa to Tam Binh, passing through the gardens of durian, sapota and longan. You can meet the local and then visit the market of local village. Return to homestay to take a rest. Extension : 1 hour walking along the path with a local and reach the island of Ngu Hiep by bike where the alluvial deposits of the Mekong have formed a fertile garden. These are unusual excursions in a lush and authentic place). If you don’t want to ride a bike, ask our guide for a motorbike and a driver.
Transfer to Long Xuyen through Sa Dec where you will visit Kien An Cung Pagoda, then Huynh Thuy Le Ancient House, taken from the novel by Marguerite Duras “The Lover”. You will experience local market in Sa Dec which is full of fruits, vegetables and fish. Continue the Mekong tour to Long Xuyen to visit Cao dai Temple and a crocodiles farm on the way.

Transfer to floating market and floating village of Long Xuyen which are lively and authentic on a small tributary of the Mekong River. You will experience daily activities of the locals and enjoy a boat trip to Cu Lao Ong Ho, where we can find a small museum dedicated to our famous president, Ton Duc Thang. Then, you will cycle around the island and enjoy the beauty of peaceful landscapes.
