Hoian Cooking Class 1 Day Tour

We begin the day (8:15 a.m.) with a drink.
Visit Hoi An‘s vibrant main market and take in the sights, sounds, and fragrances. We will be able to connect with the local vendors as well as view and taste the beautiful range of cuisine on exhibit. We take the Red Bridge boat for a 25-minute ride down the Hoi An River to the Red Bridge Cooking School. This is an opportunity to see local river life, so bring your camera.

Fresh Rice Paper Rolls of Shrimp

When we arrive, we visit the culinary school’s herb and vegetable garden before learning about some of Hoi An’s and Vietnam’s most famous meals.

Cooking classes in Hoi An

The two-hour cooking class begins with a demonstration of each meal by a Red Bridge chef before we create it ourselves. The workshop includes a quick introduction to Vietnamese food carving (plate decoration).

We sit down after the class and eat precisely what we made.

3. Crispy Hoi An Pancakes with Shrimp, Herbs & a Peanut Sauce
4. Seafood Salad with mixed Vietnamese Herbs served in Half a Pineapple

6. Food Decoration – Tomato Rose & Vietnamese Cucumber Hand Fan

Lunch includes the above meals as well as:
Steamed Ocean Fish on a bed of Freshly Chopped Vegetables (not included in the demonstration)
A vegetarian lunch can be provided on request.

Finish at approximately 1pm – transfer back to central Hoi An.
